Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I ordered my Cayman with both PCM and Sports Chrono Plus. I was under the impression this would include the ability to access the "Individual Memory" options in PCM (e.g. lighting, wiper, climate, etc. options) - in part because the brochure says, "Welcome Home Lighting... The duration is user-adjustable with the optional Sports Chrono Package Plus and PCM". However, on PCM my "Indiv. Memory" menu is grayed out and I can't access these options. The PCM manual says Individual Memory is an option. Does anyone else have this option? Did you have to order it, or did it come included with Sports Chrono Plus? It isn't a big deal but one of the reasons I ordered PCM is for all of the "non-Navigation" stuff I thought would be accessible through it, and I include this seemingly trivial item in that bucket. Thanks

POST 2Original post

My 2006 Boxster S has PCM and Sport Chrono Plus and I was able to set those options (didn't set the lighting). I don't think I did anything special; just followed the manual. In some cases, the manual requires that the car NOT be in reverse and in at least one instance reverse is required. I don't remember if this applies in this case. Ruby

POST 3Original post

Well, today I played around with it again and the option was not grayed out - I had full access to it. The only difference (I think) was that the car was off. Problem solved.
