Hi guys Right, the M3 is gone so now on the look out for a manual face-lift C2 coupe. What are the essential options on the car when looking and which are the ones that will be the most important come re-sale. I'll be getting a sports exhaust irrespective. Thanks James

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

PCM2 is better, but still not great.

6 spd C2 Coupe 3.6 'facelift' Coupe is a great choice PSM, 18" wheels, upgraded sound, xenon lights are the usual 'must haves'. Seats are personal, I'm happy with them all - so long as they are heated. PSE is essential. If buying privately, low(ish) mileage, FOPCSH, and Extended Warranty are important.
Thanks Oliver (PSM was a given also, just to keep me on the stright and narrow!!) Do you know if Xenons can be retro-fitted and is PSE SatNav?
Xenons would be an expensive retro-fit. In fairness, though, the standard lights are excellent. It's only if you do a lot of night driving that the lighting pack (which includes washers) is worth having. PSE is Porsche Sports Exhaust - delicious[8D] PCM is Sat Nav. PCM1 is was fitted up to 2003 and is not very good and the software hasn't been updated since c.2001. PCM2 is better, but still not great. There was an article in Total 911 magazine that suggested that, if Sat Nav is important, it is better to buy a non-PCM equipped car and to fit an integrated aftermarket system.
Oh how I wish it was an option to delete PCM and get decent sat nav maps etc. on my 997
But you can... Just don't have the option and for the same price get a good reputable company to fit in one of those DVD player/Sat nav/ iPod interface, etc all in one unit fully fitted in (the Pioneer AVIC-X1R is pretty decent)...
