Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Pelican Parts: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i just got a 99 996 w/ aerokit... fun car.. BUT the clutch pedal squeeks and is drivin me CRAZY!! it seems to be coming from a spring like thing by the pedal it self.. does anyone have any advice have tried wd-40 and oil and no luck can it be repaced if so what is it called...

POST 2Original post

Hey, Welcome to the Forum! If it's just the pedal, hit it with some white lithium grease, fixed mine. Lets see some pics of the new ride!!

Congratulations!! +1 I think that any kind of grease would work provided it doesn't seep out and drip on your pedals. The lithium grease is good here because it sticks well and doesn't tend to liquify except in very high temperatures. If you use anything else use a VERY small amount.
