Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello Everyone,
I just bought my first Porsche and have been reading the posts for awhile, never really saying too much. Anyways I'm about to buy some Wurth Paint and was wondering if anyone in the Vancouver area ( I'm on the North Shore) would also be interested in buying some, kinda like a group buy, but also for me to maybe meet a few locals. I'm not sure when it happened but the Hell's Gate trip would have been awesome!
Also if anyone has any tips as I'm about to repaint my handles for the front hood and rear engine cover. Could almost organize a get together paint handles day.
Hey dude - I'm a North Van 996 guy, over in Blueridge off of Berkley .
I don't want/need to buy any paint, but I wouldn't mind checking out your car.
What year is it? Where did it come from? Here's mine with the track wheels:
hello and welcome to the p-car world.
maybe you have been to it but here is the link to the local club web site, info on get togethers driving events etc.

highly recommend checking out Bob's breakfast club, great early morning drive and breakfast. get to know the locals and check out some very sweet rides.
enjoy the new ride.
Hey Thanks, I hadn't known about the BBC deal. Looking forward to meeting up with some of you and learning allot more.
Anyways for future reference to anyone wanting Wurth paint in Western Canada. At time of writing it needs to be ordered direct from Wurth where they send it from Edmonton.
So met up with Jeff this evening briefly, mostly spent the time comparing my arctic silver MkII to his arctic silver MkI.
Jeff got a smoking deal on this car. Yeah I prefer my MkII at the end of the day, but his car is a fantastic platform to work from and I *totally* would have bought it for what he paid. I always have liked the 99 cars, the throttle cable is cool, the headlights look better IMO (amberectomy is complete on this car). Plus he's a DIY maintenace guy, so long story short, the good kind of Porsche guy.
Jeff - the local Porsche Club region website is here:

Check out the event schedule, especially you will want to drop in on the next autocross scheduled for july 31.
If you run into any maintenance issues you can't handle at home give me a call, I have tools and a long list of contacts who can help. Can't guarantee it ill always be cheap, but it will be well worth it.
Here are some pics I snapped this evening. That wide angle lens really stretches the car in the foreground.
Yes - I'd like to do a whole MkI vs MkII thing with driving impressions. Let me know when you have time and when the car is clean, otherwise we will see you at event soon.
