Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I want to replace the ceramic disks from a 996 GT2 (2002) to steel ones. What are the correct part numbers? Pelican catalog says the regular turbo disks (rear for example) are 996-352-405/406-00 but I also heard regular 996 turbo disks in the rear are 330mm and not 350mm like the ceramics are... So, anyone knows the correct part numbers? Thanks a bunch, Walter

POST 2Original post

I switched my 2004 GT3 ceramics with steel. I got front PFC 2 piece rotors, and for the rear, I got the 997 GT3 cup steel rotor (997.352.40 6.91 and 5.91). The front 997 GT3 cup rotor will fit on the front, and should work unless you track the car, in which case I am told they will not last very long ( sorry, I don't have the #s because I did not get them). You may be able to get info from one of the race houses that stocks Porsche racing parts like TRG or OG Racing.
