I'm currently looking at used 991.2 GTS's at the moment, but having wandered into the configurator I'm tempted to order new.

I'd previously had a couple of 991.2 GTS's and loved them - probably the best cars I've had to grab by the scruff and just drive it without too much worry....but I didn't find the 992 C4S as exciting as the 991 GTS.

I saw a car in Norwich OPC the other day and it worked well.
I'm in the fortunate position (well, in my eyes anyway) of having an order in on a 992 GTS.
I currently drive a 991.2 GTS and love that. The spec of that car is Agate grey, PDK, GTS interior pack, Bose, 18 way and a few other bits and bobs that escape me.
I presume what I am thinking for the spec of this one will not be to everyone's cup of tea, but, I'm not overly old, have worked hard for my money and want something slightly asbo, hence the Aerokit option. I'd love a 992 GT3, but am not in a position to have spent £100's of thousands at an OPC for the past few years to even attempt to get on a list!

What is pretty nice is I have been speccing up a 992 S or months and the GTS is coming out at the same price pretty much - every option I was ticking is included, with the exception of the manual (I believe anyone who specs a manual GTS is just losing out?!).
I have a few questions on a few things that you lot might be able to help with, or at least offer your opinion on.
Manual or PDK
An age-old debate. I pretty much daily my car. Not every day, but most days. Is a manual liveable with in this scenario? part of me wants a manual for 30 odd percent of the time I like to have fun, although my work commute is on a national speed limit road for 20 mins - very little traffic. We have another family car I will drive for any lengthy drives or City stuff.
In the configurator it states the manual comes with:
Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) is standard with a mechanically locking rear differential.
Variable drive torque distribution by intelligent braking of the rear wheels.
Rear differential with asymmetrical locking
Improves agility and steering precision as well as traction and driving stability
Is this standard on all manual 992 Porsches? if so, the only difference with the GTS is a -10mm stick?
The free PASM option
From what I can gather, the car comes as standard with the GTS specific, -10mm PASM. Speccing the free one on the configurator will remove this and add the standard PASM (+10mm). Is that right?
Would you keep the standard one? I presume with this you get the GTS specific dampers and roll bars? And the helper springs? All borrowed from the Turbo. Removing it will remove these, right?
Interior
What are the specific differences in the interiors? What elements are covered in what? I cannot quite bring myself to splash £5k on the GTS interior. Someone mentioned that speccing the option 'Race-Tex interior with extensive items in leather' is the same as the GTS interior, minus the crayon stitching and other crayon accents (belts and dials) - is that right? My current car has the alcantara lower dashboard - is there any way to get this with the new car? it looks (from the promo images) that you get it with the GTS interior. But on the configurator it doesn't render like Race-tex. Switching between the GTS interior and the Race-Tex interior with extensive items in leather this area does seem to render exactly the same. As does the gaiter on the shifter - this looks like leather on both?
Can anyone shed any light on this? The interior is the one bit I'm really stuck on. I want all leather and Race-tex, but am not overly fussed about the crayon stitching and would really prefer not to have crayon dials and seat belts.
Sorry for the lengthy post - your thoughts and comments are very welcome! Good or bad :-)
I may have just answered one question regarding the 'Race-Tex interior with extensive items in leather' option:
Package as for leather interior package in black but Race-Tex for specific items retained.
Additional items in black Race-Tex: dashboard lower section including glove compartment cover, door centre panels, cup holder cover
Note: only available in interior colour of black
The only thing I cannot work out is whether the gaiter on the shift lever is Race-tex with this option (as I'd want it to be).

Re the interior, I want to review my own order in relation to this, but initial order is inclusive of the 'GTS Interior' package/s;
Nice. Maybe I just need to bite the bullet and go for the GTS interior package...I just don't really want the dials or the seatbelts. My current car has the seatbelts and my son has a habit of marking the when he gets in the back...which he actually does rather often.
Hi,
I’ve an order in too (for a 4 GTS), can’t wait
IMO you want to get the GTS interior package and leave the pasm (ie don’t delete it)
The carbon and contrast stitching and centre lock wheels are a key part of the GTS ‘identity’ and I think will be pretty important for future resale (not that that is or should be the key consideration)

Mmm, I have considered that. Part of me thinks it is my car, so I'll spec it how I want, but part of me realises I will not keep it forever!
As I said, for me personally it's the Race-tex, carbon, centre lock wheels that do it for me - the contract stitching has crossed my mind. But you might be right...

I didn't know anyone else through that. I'm like...it's a GTS - it should be a bit chavvy. If you don't want that, get a base model or an S. The whole point of the GTS spec (and it is a spec), is for it to be a little more boy-racer.
The aerokit looks ace in my opinion.
Really lifts the car into another level.
In years to come people will actively look for a aerokit equipped car i think.
The rest of the spec is for you to decide. I get thoroughly confused with the racetec options on the gts and what it gives you!
Centre locks are a unique feature to the gts so get those as well.

Which is a real shame as the GTS interior pack is £5k (for some reason the carbon pack gets increased to £2.5k and must be included) which is a bit of a joke, and the centre lock wheels are just massive aggro if you ever need to get them off (from bitter experience sadly).
I'm considering a GTS and would not have either option, which makes me think perhaps I should just go for the S. Problem is by the time I spec it properly it's only a grand or so off the GTS and then cost of ownership comes into play, where the GTS would be far better.
I think your spec looks great!
Pretty much how i'd spec it. Living in London, I'd have to go PDK but my heart would always want the manual.
My only additions would be:
Porsche crest on the centre armrest - I always feel that really adds to the interior!
SportDesign Side Skirts

I'm lucky in that my father-in-law owns a decent garage, so I can easily remove/administer the centre-lock wheels as he has the correct torque wrench. I can imagine punctures being a complete pain though, which I've yet to experience in my 991.2 GTS ownership. Plus, in my small brain, there is something pretty cool about having wheels that use tech that has filtered down from motorsport!
You're right, I've only noticed that most of the cost is the increase of the Extended Interior Package in matt carbon from £ 506.00 to £ 2,231.00. What's that about?
I found the same with speccing a 992 S - I was basically up to GTS price, and the residuals will be far higher on a GTS car. Plus I prefer the little bits like the matt black front splitter etc.

Thank you. I am very aware spec is very personal - I certainly wouldn't expect everyone to like it!
The crest on the centre armrest is a good shout. I prefer the black side skirts though, and I believe speccing the SportDesign Side Skirts will make them body-coloured?

I'd go for Gentian Blue with the RS wheels and a manual 'box.
I have to say this looks lush. I was originally going for Agate grey, but my wife quite rightly pointed out it's a bit silly to have the same colour as I've currently got, in what is a very similar car. I've always been a fan of flat colours (I LOVE Nardo grey), so think Crayon will be a good shout.

.
There is nothing similar re motorsport in the road centerlock except how it looks. If you have a puncture when you are out in europe or NC500 then it's a right old faff and you'd prolly have to lug around a massive weighty torque wrench costing several hundreds plus the maintenance of said centrelock wheel packing after a certain amount of track mileage means they are indeed for show. How I wished my RS didn't have them standard.
Put a torque multiplier in the frunk. It’s what I do and makes it all manageable if you can supervise the removal. I have a snap on 4 - 1 and it’s pretty easy.

Disagree with airokit being the option that people want….a lot of people like the GTS because it doesn’t have the spoiler and is a bit more stealth. Anything higher up the performance ladder comes with a spoiler (GT3 Touring apart)….look how popular the Touring is to tell you how much people like performance/pedigree without the spoiler.
997 GTS with Aerokit seem to hang around if anything (911 Virgin had one for quite a while recently)….and you don’t see people going mad for the ducktail on the 991.1 GTS either.
I’d also agree with what was said above about speccing a GTS…it’s a GTS so people want all the GTS specifics including interior, the interior is a big part of what differentiates a GTS from a Carrera/S. Cars without the expensive GTS interior box ticked don’t sell as quickly….that applies to 997 GTS, and both 991 GTS’s. Doubt 992 will be any different. I
If you are going to spec a Targa 4 GTS, i would 100% go with the CCBDs option, the steels do the Job OK, but if you are going to press on a bit its nice to have the stopping power of the CCBDs the Targa is a heavy car, also they are now the 10 Pots as stock from the Turbo S and Tycan, epic stopping performance.

I have a 992 PDK Targa 4GTS on order but not driven one yet. I did just over 35k miles (including a few track days) in 2 x 991.2 Targa 4GTS, yes whist it feels a sorted car it does feel heavy was glad i put CCBDs on both.

I’m waiting for the option of lightweight glass and rear seat delete.
My spec includes:
Gts interior
Gts pasm
Rear seat delete
Light weight glass
Carbon roof
Manual
Rear wheel steering
Then all the other non driving specific nice stuff
Only thing is. That comes to 135k and that’s not too far off the 991.2ht3

Sounds like a nice spec. A GTS is less hardcore than a GT3 and can realistically be used as a daily (will I never use the rear seats?). The other thing is actually getting a GT3 is nearly impossible. It’s not just a matter of ordering one.

Yes I understand. Though I put 20000 miles on my 991.1gt3 in 16 months so understand the set backs of using a gt3 daily.
My choice is between a manual 991.2gt3 or a new 992 gts.
Benefits of the gts is that you can use a roof rack so I could use it when biking and skiing with a proper roof rack opposed to my seasucker on my gt3.
I still think 991.2gt3s are overpriced and will come down again next year by 10k but non of them are particularly well specced so I will probably prefer the gts

Defo no Aerokit for me. IMO the Aero-kit on a non GT3/2 is a bit too 'try-hard'.
I'm currently looking at used 991.2 GTS's at the moment, but having wandered into the configurator I'm tempted to order new.
How I'd do it:
- Python Green (or Lava Orange)
- RS Spyder Design Wheels
- GTS interior package
- Electric slide/tilt glass sunroof
- Electric folding exterior mirrors
- Brake Calipers painted in Black (high-gloss)
- Automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors with integrated rain sensor
- Rear wiper
- ParkAssist (front and rear) including reversing camera
- Light design package
- Extended Interior Package in matt carbon (auto selected with Interior GTS package)
- BOSE

It's interesting regarding the Aerokit - four votes for it, three votes against it in this thread so far. 50/50. Personally I love the 991.2 GT3 wing. I love the look of the whole car. The touring is also lovely. I'd happily have either. Really not sure on the 992 GT3 wing, and would almost certainly purchase a touring if I was ever given the opportunity to do so.
But there's something about the wing on the 992 Aerokit that I really like. I saw a car in Norwich OPC the other day and it worked well. I feel it is less of a statement than the 997 GTS Aerokit wing and considerably more than the small wing on the 991 (could you even spec a 991.2 with Aerokit?).
I wonder if there is perhaps a correlation between age and whether you like it (not that I am suggesting you are at all old Cheib); I am just curious. it is perhaps slightly try hard, but I would imagine any 992 GTS purchaser (or certainly many of them) would be buying a 992 GT3 if there was a chance of owning one. As we all know they are rather impossible to get hold of.
I think you may be right on the GTS interior package though...

I’m waiting for the option of lightweight glass and rear seat delete.
My spec includes:
Gts interior
Gts pasm
Rear seat delete
Light weight glass
Carbon roof
Manual
Rear wheel steering
Then all the other non driving specific nice stuff
Only thing is. That comes to 135k and that’s not too far off the 991.2ht3
Closing the buckets gives you the rear seat delete
Why does the GTS rear end have the registration plate higher up? It’s not like the gt3 where it’s in the way of the exhausts.
It’s almost as if they employed the man responsible for the rear of the Discovery 5 after JLR sacked him!
The clean line on the base spec 992 is more pleasing to the eye.

That just leaves waiting for the light weight glass.

I’m currently deciding whether to replace my 992 C2S with a GTS and this single thing (especially if you imagine a yellow plate in place…) is steering me towards another C2S

It’s a shame you can’t spec the buckets on anything below a GTS.
I guess I’ll be waiting for a 992T at this rate

the T is where its at. Remember though when the 992 T comes out, like with the 991 T, the privacy glass option forgoes the light weight glass. Quite why anyone would spec privacy glass is beyond me, but many got caught out on that point.
I’m coming out of a 991.2C4GTS having that 4 wheel drive just gave it an added dimension in drivability I think, but yeah I think I’ll keep my powder dry until details of the T emerge.
Unless of course the 992.2 is a hybrid ??

Defo no Aerokit for me. IMO the Aero-kit on a non GT3/2 is a bit too 'try-hard'.
I'm currently looking at used 991.2 GTS's at the moment, but having wandered into the configurator I'm tempted to order new.
How I'd do it:
- Python Green (or Lava Orange)
- RS Spyder Design Wheels
- GTS interior package
- Electric slide/tilt glass sunroof
- Electric folding exterior mirrors
- Brake Calipers painted in Black (high-gloss)
- Automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors with integrated rain sensor
- Rear wiper
- ParkAssist (front and rear) including reversing camera
- Light design package
- Extended Interior Package in matt carbon (auto selected with Interior GTS package)
- BOSE
Looking nice. Python green is a great colour. It's lovely in fact. As is Lava orange. Both fairly out there colours in terms of getting noticed on the road...
I have just placed an order for a GTS Cab with the majority of options and Signal Yellow PTS paint.
Because of the paint, I have not gone for the GTS packages (first time in what will be my 3rd GTS), but ive gone for the equivalents that give the same but allow me to spec speed yellow stitching.
Currently undecided about the bonnet and roof stripes. Also whether to go for the GTS PASM or standard PASM, on the 991.2 GTS Cab you didn't have the option of the GTS -10mm suspension, only PASM, so thats what im used to, and I do use comfort on the motorway. Like the fact they have the exterior gloss pack now too on the 911, had that on my 981 Boxster and loved it, so going for that. Going for the full advanced parking (remote parking in garage etc) and the innodrive too. About the only thing I haven't specced is the night vision, although cool, would never use it.
Cant wait though, love my 991.2 GTS cab in Viper Green, but time for something new, and the updated interior.
Was told by Porsche Reading an order now would be march next year with PTS adding 3 months, Silverstone have allocations for the end of the year and believe that PTS is open in Jan, so possibly delivery in Feb (probably more like March with the delays), so have ordered from Silverstone anyway. Never get the feeling you are a valued customer at Reading, youre just another number on their huge turnover.
I did test drive an Aston Vantage F1 edition, which just doesnt compare to the 991.2, let alone the 992, way too many compromises, and more expensive in every way. So sticking to my third Porsche GTS
the gts as it comes has just about everything i would look for, just pick a colour.
cant see why it has to have the gts interior as its just a few stips of carbon and seat belts/odd trim in a tacky red colour
looks better all black, but as always each to there own

100% agree !!! Though a bit of crayon / white detailing can sharpen things up a little ..

IMO it's useful for making your 'stuff' behind the seats less visible to passers-by and low-life. Was an essential for me.

that's not an aerokit though is it, thats a turbo, those wheels are hideous on that spec though.
You cant spec the aerokit with a convertible.
Thats the worst viper green car ive seen, not sure what went wrong, just doesnt work.
I was going to go for the stripes on my signal yellow GTS Cab, but after seeing this, im not so sure, think its just too busy.
Also dont like the body coloured sills either, need to be black, viper needs black wheels and lots of other black parts.

no its not, its about the alcantara, makes it special inside.
Plus you dont have to have red, you can also have silver (crayon).
Have you owned a GTS?

you get racetex as standard, its weather you want red or crayon stiching, belts or odd trim parts coloured,i think its tacky and prefer the all black
but as i said each to there own

I dont think they do Alcantara anymore its now called racetex, i have it on my GT3 it looks good but no way does it feel that it will wear well on a car used as a daily. Shame as on the older cars with Alcantara and the " GTS" Stitching etc it made the cars feel special, IMO. Have gone for Black and Silver leather, on Targa GTS, if Alcantara was an option would have 100% gone with it.

Without the gts interior it is pretty much the same as a boxster ,if someone is ok with that for a 100k + car then fine but I think for most it is a very important option.

partial you do, but unless you go for the GTS package or the extensive leather with racetex option as an alternative (the GTS package includes this plus the different coloured stitching) you still get some poverty spec items, some pretty important ones at that!
Additional items in black Race-Tex: dashboard lower section including glove compartment cover, door centre panels, cup holder cover.
Plus with the GTS pack you get the additional Carbon strips on the dash, doors and centre console.
It really is poverty spec without those packages, have you owned a GTS 911?

Alcantara is a brand, they invented the material in effect, there are other brands.
I believe Porsche make their own now and brand it as Race Tex.
Its the same material as far as know, shouldn't in any way be inferior.
Sport Tex is the cheaper version.

Simple answer is yes.
You can get the same look as the GTS package without the contrast colouring if you dont want that, by optioning the extensive leather with racetex option, that gives you the extra racetex on the lower dash and doors to stop it looking like a poverty GTS.
Then you can also add the extra carbon too (which is considerably cheaper if not optioning the GTS package). You can also add a contrast stitch if you wish too, which is what ive done to get yellow stitching to match the exterior colour.

Spec wise I think I got my choices spot on for me - I would like to try one without the lightweight glass to see if it does make a difference noise wise though!

That’s very annoying given the price rise is so recent etc.
Picked mine up last week, drove it for 20 mins before dropping it off for PPF. Hopefully will be ready before the weekend.
Luckily got in at the last minute on a cancelled order, a second price rise would have been hard to stomach.

Mm, the MyPorsche tracker still shows stage 3 and thought I’m supposed to get production photos at some point…
Mine also does, but the dealers advised it’s built and at the port….. although there are major backlog issues at the port
Mines also at the port for the past week. I reckon it’ll be a few weeks yet.
My PEC invite came months ago when I first placed my order (not the official order, but the point I gave them my deposit)… you should get an email maybe it’s in your spam? Maybe check with your OPC… I queried why I got it so early this time around (for my C2S I was invited after I collected the car) and they said they want you to experience it before you lock your spec in case the day influences what you want to order.
That said, I’ve decided to schedule mine for July when the weather is likely to be a bit better.

its so you spec the whole options list
upselling its called
My dealer called me saying I can finalise specs now for a September delivery. Meanwhile price, with specs, went from 126 to 138k
20 months waiting and 12k price increase make me think that I may well keep my 991 4s manual and cancel the order..
Need to decide by tmrw
That's tough. I could have been there if mine hadn't have come through for Jun delivery. Not sure what I'd have done. These are emotional and illogical purchases and whichever way you look at it not the best use of cash. However, if you're like me and it's your first Porsche (and I consider only a 911 as being really worth putting myself out for) then I think I'd probably stick with it only on the basis of getting a .2, although I am not sure it will be revolutionary, more a little cosmetic, digital and EU speed and noise compliant.

Friend of mine got his GTS Targa two weeks ago, he went from a 4S Targa.
He doesn't actually like it anywhere near as much and doesn't really know what to do right now. He is absolutely gutted.
He goes back and forth to London in it 3 days a week down the M4, 80 miles each way, and finds the new one too firm and too noisy.
I just don't think it suites how he uses his car.

properly yes i would say,
its ok on the smoothest roads but for the majority of roads it needs another setting below comfort and softer spring rates
and the tyre roar looked at

It all depends on what you are used to. Tyre pressures can make a huge difference.
I’ve been running mine with the tyre pressures set to comfort, made a big difference over the standard setting that it was delivered on.
I recently did a trip to Oxford from Newcastle and whilst noisier than our daily Golf, the better half and myself could still listen to some tunes and hold a conversation so we, personally, don’t find it uncomfortable and definitely no nosier on a run than my 991.1S.
For reference mines a 2GTS coupe, PDK with the lightweight glass and RAS.
I also recently had a run out with 3 other different era 911s around North Yorkshire and definitely didn’t find it too frantic or skittish, in fact out of the 4 cars mine was the only one that didn’t bottom out over a particular undulating piece of road - if that says anything about the set up!
For my use and needs it’s spot on.

Tricky dilemma, but for what it’s worth, I had a C4 GTS coupe for about a year and absolutely loved it.
There isn’t a single commodity which I buy that hasn’t gone up in price over the last 18 months, whether it’s eggs or cars. The only upside for you is that depending on your proposed period of ownership, a price rise will work in your favour as the price you sell it for down the line will also be higher…maybe not high enough to compensate for the price rise you’re now exposed to, but still higher.
I ordered a Carrera T in February, my build slot is September, and the price of the car I want is now over £10k more than when I initially configured it…

Bit of a thread resurrection.
I've had my GTS for 8 months now, and had the opportunity to spend last weekend driving around the best Wales has to offer with some friends. Cars ranged from 2x992 GTS (1 manual, 1 PDK), 991.2 GT3, F-Type R and Lotus Exige. Not only was it a fantastic weekend with some amazing roads and experiences, it really lit up the GTS experience for me.
I'll admit it took me a while to gel with the car - it's my first 911 - but this weekend it just worked. At 7/10ths and above it's alive and nothing could get near it. It inspires confidence, the ride is firm but in no way skittish and you can push it beyond where you'd expect the limit to be.
And then I trundled back home down the motorway for an hour cruising in comfort.
For me it's the car that does everything and like Trufit said 'it's spot on'.

Had mine for just over a year now and 6k miles.
I moved from a C2S which I didn’t quite gel with.
The GTS is a very different car from the S.
It’s stiffer, tighter and a lot more “planted”; I love it.
After a 12 month wait on the list I’ve finally been given a build slot… I actually thought I’d be waiting for 992.2 now which I was totally comfortable with.
I’d be really grateful if anyone could please give me an indication of what percentage the list price may have increased over the past 12 months as I foolishly didn’t record it at the time of order.
What I do know is it’s looking like £160k + right now which is an awful lot of money for a GTS!

My GTS cab arrived the end of June and I have to say, I didn't initially bond with it, felt it was harsh, pricey and overrated.
However, now, I absolutely love it...just an utterly fantastic car.
I went a bit daft also, adding near £21k of options, but don't regret a thing.
Mines was £142k Inc extras and price jumped to £153k a week after it went into production.
Current values are down, but so are values right across the board and hopefully when confidence grows these will be back to reasonable values in spring.
The 992.1 GTS production is right at the end of the line, and you won't see a 992.2GTS till mid 2025 at the earliest, so no real worries about the current prices; once the new ones are bought it will sort itself out.
Your gonna really like it when it turns up.
I’m a 992.1 targa GTS owner, with a deposit down on another, and being brutally honest I wouldn’t be putting 160k in a gen 1 car currently unless you are happy to potentially lose a considerable amount of money in the next 18 months.
Sadly I think that financially it makes no sense to move forward on a new build right now unless I’m wanting to keep this car forever and a day (which I’m not) as the potential loss is significant.
Quick search on Porsche used brings up an 8 month old car with less that 3000 miles on it £35k below the list price, which would be closer to £50k below on trade in…

If you can find a used one with a spec that you’re happy with then I’d go for it. I’ve had mine since March and I love it, my dealer honoured my order price (MY22) which I was happy to pay but I’m not so sure that would be the case now.
Good luck with your search.

I’d agree sadly.
Maybe the dealer would discount the car ? I appreciate it has not been something they have done recently much but times are different and most people will be waiting for the gen2 car now.
I put my deposit down in May and was offered a cancelled GTS slot about a month ago which would have meant I'd get the car in January.
I'd decided I was going to wait for the 992.2 regardless, so declined, but it's a fair point about the 992.2 GTS arriving much later. Not sure whether the OPC will encourage me to switch to a different model once the 992.2 comes out, or wait another year for the GTS?
Mine is a PTS slot, reason I’ve waited to so long. But I just don’t feel I can stomach the potential loss on a car that just isn’t quite special enough.
The times of old have returned, you leave the showroom and kiss goodbye to at least the VAT value in your brand new car. Only plus side is there is now fun to be had on the used market once again!

Quite...
I've recently been in the market for one and the latest listing at Wolverhampton is an acquired taste...
That PTS Fjord Green looks fantastic in my opinion
In the end I plumped for the manual lightweight one at Norwich...
It's a bit plain in white with black calipers (on PCCB's...sacrilege!) so some decals definitely needed.
I'm coming out of a Huracan mainly because I want something to drive more frequently without having any concern for mileage - I did 20k in my first one in 18 months, then 9k in this one in a year and that kind of use makes them pretty undesirable to move on (people just don't seem to use them). I also fancy a manual for a change....which does limit ones choices somewhat.
The Huracan has been a fantastic car, the most exciting and visceral thing I've ever had - I attempted to come out my first Huracan into a 992 last year...but that was a C4S and it lasted all of a month before I decided I wanted the Lambo back. I'd previously had a couple of 991.2 GTS's and loved them - probably the best cars I've had to grab by the scruff and just drive it without too much worry....but I didn't find the 992 C4S as exciting as the 991 GTS.
I took this GTS for a good test drive, loved the manual 'box and it did seem a much more interesting proposition (dare I say quite a different car) to the C4S. Even though I'm used to a V10, it didn't disgrace itself on sound either (at least inside the car - there is no comparison externally), again a notable improvement on the C4S - I'm curious whether this is down to being a GTS, or having the lightweight package.
Anyway, we'll see how I get on with this one. Bit of a trek to see it at Norwich but they've been very decent to deal with - I've got a road trip down to the Dolomites and then onto Maranello / Sant'Agata in the Huracan at the end of this month and they've agreed to hold the GTS until after I've done that trip - very reasonable!

It's not the colour in isolation that bothers me....
But as someone said above, each to their own!

The wheel colour too is great. I wish more folk took chances on adventurous specs.. might not be to everyones taste but I say hats off to them for going for it no matter the outcome - and this one in particular I think is great.
I find it incredible how many of the latest 992s have privacy glass. I can just about understand privacy glass in an SUV (although my own doesn't have it), but in a 911?

I'm with you! Privacy glass is a pet hate of mine.

This one is quite something...

Never seen these wheels before, interesting...

A nice incarnation of the 964 cup wheel, and the proportion look spot on. Not 100% sure what to make of them, but I lean towards liking them.

Congrats ! I think it looks great !
I bought from Norwich for my Cayman GTS 4.0 and they were super easy and professional to deal with.

Nice find - I notice they do a remastered version of this one too....

And this, very nice - was Lizard Green an option, or PTS?

That doesn't look like Lizard Green to me, I'd say it's Python Green, which was a colour available on the GTS up until 18mths ago.
I say this as somebody who owns a Python Green Porsche.
seen this 992 GTS ?
Its tuned by SpeedArt and now has 580ps and is faster around the testet circuit then the standard 992 Turbo S they also tested there... sounds nice.
Its called now the 992 GTS-R

Very classy PTS GTS

Now that is really nice!!! I’d much rather have this than any of the new 992.2 cars.
I know, the term “last of the …” has been used to death throughout the 911’s life. But neither wide body only, PDK, electric steering, turbo’d Carrera has had as much of an impact imho as the new mandatory speed warning and safety systems…
