This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Have you got air-con on your 993 & does it still steam up when this is running, if so have you done a thorough carpet & roof lining check after it has rained to see if water is getting in.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, My new toy seems to suffer from wet windows (inside) constantly has anyone else had this problem? I have taken it back to the OPC 6 times but is still the same[&:] Thanks

POST 2Original post

What have the OPCs said and done on all the visits about the condensation?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

very little they give no reason but just say it's fixed which it is not!! forgot to mention its the front side windows on a CAB

POST 4Original post

Is it just condensation? Porsche took a very long time to get the heating system right in the 911, it wasn't until the 996 arrived that it worked properly. But even on the 996 the car steams up easily, so you need the aircon to be running if you get in with wet clothes on!! Have you got air-con on your 993 & does it still steam up when this is running, if so have you done a thorough carpet & roof lining check after it has rained to see if water is getting in. I once had a 944Turbo, every time it rained the rear foot well got wet, never did trace where the water came in from!!!

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You may need to check window and door seals; this type of condensation is usually caused by water evaporating that has leaked in during rain or washing; not a great problem to have but best solved early.
