, there are half a dozen stores across the US...they refinish to factory new, repair (if needed and possible), Porsche OEM wheels, others too.

I'd like to send the set back...but can't seem to fish the data out of my Pay Pal.

***Know I got had on a set of wheels. 2 are good, one (1) OK,
and one (1) totally bent and unusable.
A few months back I bought a set of 996 ten (10) spoke wheels. I was assured by the buyer they were straight and true...silly gullible me. I let them sit in a box without opening the box...finally took them to a tire shop to mount up some tire....they didn't see the huge ding in one of the fronts...never going back there again.
I'd like to send the set back...but can't seem to fish the data out of my Pay Pal. I am 99% certain the seller won't pick up this note.
So bottom line, I am on the look out for one (1) straight and true 7" X 17" 10 spoke 996 wheel.
As a side note, I have been buying and selling parts on Rennlist since Rennlist started. I have had three (3) bad experiences, all wheel related....all the other transactions have been great. Lesson??? Don't buy used wheels unless you absolutely trust the seller will NOT misrepresent the wheels as straight and true when they are not. Get a money back guarantee if you can.
Yea. I got had from an Audi forum. I even rolled the wheels (they had tired as well) to check for any bends. Within a day of mounting and driving, Tires were flat and had bubbles on side walk. Wheels had hairline cracks and can't be fixed.

, there are half a dozen stores across the US...they refinish to factory new, repair (if needed and possible), Porsche OEM wheels, others too. They have located a 996 ten (10) spoke wheel for me in Houston...it should be out to the West Coast in about 4 days. Now I will have a complete set of 17" 996 Ten Spoke wheels. Their price is reasonable/acceptable.
