bought my clear corners this afternoon. talked to my buddy at the performance shop and he is really itching to get his hands on my cayman. they are the us importer for speedart and if i play my cards right i could get some very cool upgrades (exhaust, headers, cats, etc...)at cost. within the next few months they should have a package that will increase hp to 340 on the cayman. mmmmmmm...that sounds nice.
my next move is springs and spacers. the cayman sits up pretty high, and some H&R springs will take it down about an inch and a half. the spacers will widen the stance and increase handling as well. the hardest thing is going to be letting go of my cherry for a couple of days to have the shop play around with it.
other plans include lowering the height of the shifter with a new knob and or short shift kit depending on whats available and maybe a set of silver rings for the insturment cluster. ill do those myself.
anyone else itching to make some cosmetic or performance changes anytime soon? i will post pics as soon as things change.
Make sure the springs are for the Cayman and not the Boxster, they are different, and a couple of people have almost accidentally purchased the wrong ones.
good to know..thanks K-man.
Did they say what this package entails? Is it a ECU mod only?
no...it includes an exhaust, headers, cats, ecu/chip change, and probably a couple of other little goodies. if you want to stay on top of it...check out

its all bolt on stuff though, so if you want to get back to stock you can get it all off fairly easily. well, i guess thats debateable...except for the chip. there is no engine modification....

<div>hmmm that is exactly whoat I would do, headers/cats, exhaust and ECU. I don't think I would do the CAI though</div>

<div>You know how much? I know you said at cost which I'm sure is A LOT cheaper.</div>
