Suggestion · Original poster

The current ones look good to me but as i have taken off the anti roll bar to be rust treated and painted, it makes sense to change the rubbers.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm in the process of changing the rear anti roll bar bushes. The current ones look good to me but as i have taken off the anti roll bar to be rust treated and painted, it makes sense to change the rubbers. I have measured the bar diameter and reads 19mm. On reviewing the part on 911 and other sites they show 18.7mm or 19.8mm as a replacement. As i have a few scores / marks on the anti roll bar (which i found when rubbing down) should i order the 19.8 bush to allow for the wear or stick with 18.7mm which is nearer to the measured diameter. I'd appreciate your thoughts.

POST 2Original post

19.8 is bigger than 18.7. If the bar is worn then it's less not more.

POST 4Original post

There are 2 sizes of bushes available the c4s and the turbo have thicker anti roll bars.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've ordered the 18.7mm bushes today

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just got them. I'll offer them up to the brackets tomorrow and see. Will not be fitting to car for a few weeks

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Fitted perfectly on the anti roll bar and alloy brackets. Thanks to Alex for his earlier post.
