Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm going to spot-paint a few curb rash areas on my '01 C2 wheels. I saw a DIY article that used Wurth "lacquer spray metallic silver", p/n 892180. I've also found Wurth p/n 892181 under two different names: "silver lacquer paint" and "silver wheel paint." Does anyone have any idea as to which is the closer match to factory? Thanks; Carl

Would this be the correct color for a 2001 C4 with the factory 18" 2 piece wheels?

POST 6Original post

i posted a thread years ago restoring my 993 wheels - the silver paint was an exact match to porsche/mercedes silver wheels - 996 turbo twist color. paint manufactired by "wurth" - i think they stopped making this paint because it's hard to find now and expensive - sometimes found on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/WURTH-Alloy-...ZSQv3W&vxp=mtr
