Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, So I got a Supercup GT3 lip for my C2 Mk1, non-aero front. I'm pretty sure I can force it to fit after drilling a bunch of holes, but I need to get the plastic trim off at the edge of the bumper right near each wheel; it's blocking the lip's positioning, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to take them off. It's this piece: 39zc31nh.jpg Anyone have any advice on how to get it off? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

not familiar with it but the pic looks like it has tabs that point up

POST 4Original post

this summer to clean the radiators and this video helped a lot. Those small pieces do have tabs so that you have to slide them back towards the wheel and then pry them off. If you haven't cleaned behind your radiators now would be a good time and it will be easier to remove those pieces.

POST 5Original post

With that much in the front how much was between the AC radiator and the cooling rad?

POST 6Original post

I just replaced the exact trim piece you identified a couple of weeks ago. There are plastic tabs which hold it into place. Press the trim in just below each tab and it should come down without too much force. Where did you find the front lip spoiler and can you please share some photos when finished. Thanks
