Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Although I'm not interested in a clear cover, it would be cool to replace the torx bolts with some sort of wing nuts, t-bolts, etc.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have put an article online today about how to remove your engine cover. I had the tech at the dealership show me the proper way to do it. Enjoy! http://www.planet-9.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=12&cat=10

POST 2Original post

Ken, Could you secify the wrench number you use to remove the engine cover? Thanks.

POST 3Original post

Interesting. Although I'm not interested in a clear cover, it would be cool to replace the torx bolts with some sort of wing nuts, t-bolts, etc. So once you get the top cover off.......no tools are required to remove the metal cover.

POST 4Original post

We didn't take the engine cover off so I didn't check the Torx screw size, from the pic my guess is a T20.

POST 5Original post

Clear engine cover?? Now this sounds interesting! How is the development progressing?

POST 6Original post

I hope to know more this week, my travel schedule is cutting into my projects. /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/embaressed_smile.gif

POST 7Original post

Wow, this could be REALLY cool. Ken, have you thought about speed yellow upgrades onto the engine? With this clear cover, that could be neat.

POST 8Original post

yeah, actually I'm thinking the intake runners in Guards Red with silver or white lettering for Porsche would be cool, but I have to look at how difficult and/or costly that will be.
