I see some posts mentioning opening up the lens etc or getting a cleaning brush through the bulb aperture, which I don’t think will work in this case, but maybe, any advise would be helpful, he new light from Porsche is £1600

I’ve had it professionally cleaned but there was nothing they could do with the slightly yellow internal lens, probably due to a bulb getting too hot.

Suggestion
The old school way of doing this back in day was to just replace the old fashioned and rubbish halogen bulb with a high output zenon bulb.

Hi all, due to a front end knock I had a brand new headlight replaced, which now make the original light on the opposite side look out of place. I’ve had it professionally cleaned but there was nothing they could do with the slightly yellow internal lens, probably due to a bulb getting too hot.
Has anyone found a way to rectify this or is it a case of just buying another one? I see some posts mentioning opening up the lens etc or getting a cleaning brush through the bulb aperture, which I don’t think will work in this case, but maybe, any advise would be helpful, he new light from Porsche is £1600
Here’s a pic I’ve found on the internet with a similar yellowing, I’ve highlighted the issue in yellow, the yellowing is on the internal lens not the outer shell
If you're willing to tinker ....
You can remove the outer cover. Then once inside remove the yellowing part. Then replace the old fashioned halogen bulb with a modern projector with zenon or LED bulb. All legal and much better light. I will admit I didn't do mine. I paid someone else to do it for me.

If it is yellow on the inner lense which stands vertically then you're basically throwing that part in the bin

You're converting the lights to HID or Zenon or nowadays LED
The old school way of doing this back in day was to just replace the old fashioned and rubbish halogen bulb with a high output zenon bulb. However these scatter light everywhere and are not MOT complaint.
Fast forward a few years and companies started making generic projectors which can be retrofitted. Think of a projector as a new complete light in a tiny package. So you install this projector inside your headlight where the old halogen bulb went.
So if you zoom in on my first pic above of the headlight alone you'll see this. The large chrome surround of the original headlight is now basically doing nothing now and could be painted a different colour or whatever. Because the light is now being 'projected' forward and with concentrated direction without it.
Am I making any sense?
The basic idea is to remove the very outer cover. Done by gently warming the complete light to soften the bonding glue then prying the outer cover away. Then you have full access to poke around inside the headlight. Then make your mods inside. So throw away old lense and whatever else you wanna do. Replace outer cover with fresh bonding agent. Done.
This is with only 1 upgraded headlight working
