I've got a CDR22 with the M490 Sound Package (which is a line out powered Nokia amp in the frunk powering dash speakers, door speakers and rear speakers)
I have purchased a Blaupunkt Frankfurt and had read that I need a specific harness to ensure line level output is provided to the amp.
I found the following harness on ebay and messaged the seller to validate who has asked for some pictures of my current wiring -

So I have gone about removing the CDR22 and got some pics of the wiring going into it
The question I have is what is the small box that appears to be attached across certain pins on the green and blue connectors?
It looks like block C2 pin 9 and pin 8 and block C3 pin 19, 18 and 20. Looking at the pin references it suggests that these are "special connections for Porsche CD changer / Sony MD changer". My car has neither so wondered if it was a terminator that stops it looking for a removed CD / MD changer unit?
