Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

It's been relatively warm here on the Left Coast and I've noticed that it's sometimes quite humid when I first get in the Cayman if it's been sitting outside. I have not generally been using recycled air. Is this expected? Has anyone else noticed this?

POST 2Original post

hsjb, Yep. Same here, also after a hard drive I will often park in the shade, however I can feel that the engine heat has warmed up the cabin when I get back in. Russ

POST 4Original post

hsjb, I haven't noticed any moisture whatsoever. Yesterday someone said that they had water droplets hitting their foot! I am sure weather would have some bearing on humidity, but not sure if that is true in your neck of the woods. I do remember when I first got my car that the windows kept fogging up,, but it was quite humind at the time. It has not happened in quite awhile now. Russ

POST 5Original post

Yeah, the windows have some fogging and it feels moist inside.

POST 6Original post

hsjb, Mine was doing that when the mornings were a little cooler than they are now, but just in the cool morning time. In the afternoon once it warmed up it did not happen. Russ

POST 7Original post

I don't know if this is your case, when you press AC MAX the air is directed to the windshield (like a defroster) and to the cabin. As soon as I realized it, I turned off the windshieldair steam, and that solved the problem. For a day or two I had to turn on my wippers because the indshield was fogging from the outside,(warm moist air condensing on the cold windshield). I think the cold air deffoger when the AC Max is pressed is a mistake, but I can press the bottun to turn it off relatively easy.
