Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

30 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 7Original post

Did anyone know some of the earlier history of this car? Having seen a black GT3 parked on my road earlier this week I’ve revised my opinion on whether I’d want one in black! From the description it looks like a previous owner had it maintained at Parr

POST 8Original post

Looks great very very hard to find well maintained 996GT3s now not many around to be had now days.

POST 10Original post

What about the 2004 black 996 GT3CS recently posted for £34k? Does anyone else think that's cheap for a 2 owner 38,000 mile car with FSH? It looks like quite a nice car

POST 16Original post

Does seem a bit too cheap especially for a CS but they're possibly just after a quick sale I guess.

POST 17Original post

Too cheap no such thing as a cheap GT3 cheap for a reason. A full refresh can cost at least 10k

POST 18Original post

tracydeedance said: Too cheap no such thing as a cheap GT3 cheap for a reason. A full refresh can cost at least 10k I would suggest a thorough inspection on this if its a proper CS. It just doesn't seem right at that price

POST 19Original post

Maybe it's just a straight car and this is what there worth. Perhaps he does'nt spend time on forums talking values up, and wants a nice easy sale? The black one at jzm has been there months, some people can't be bothered holding out for every last penny for months on end and just want another toy. ;-)

POST 20Original post

Plenty have sold within a day or so (some even less than 24 hours) at £40k plus so I don't think that is their true value. PARR just put a silver Mk2 comfort up for sale with 24k miles (I think) at just under £45k.

See the Internet does work ;-) Just gets annoying that owners of gt3's start getting worried soon as a sensibly priced one comes up. More posts about using them and abusing them on track, or even up Wales ect would be a refreshing change. :-)

I think it's just natural that if one that comes up at a lower than usual price it's going to spark a bit of discussion or debate.

Crimp a Length! said: The guy isn't selling now by all accounts Thanks for the update...in that case I can put away the man maths book for now.

POST 26Original post

Someone told me the other day that the guy hadn't been following the current prices of GT3's hence the slightly lower than normal price? And this isn't me trying to talk up the prices before someone accuses me, just passing on what I had been told!

I knew I should have picked up the phone.

The 'slightly lower than normal' price that still wasn't low enough to sell?

If I had spare loot and it was A-ok, I would have snapped it up at £34k - anyone who thinks otherwise must be bonkers....... ........and I'm not talking prices up either
