Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now I know it is a minor thing and not really important to the car but why is the PSM2 map on my car never of my geographical area? Whenever I turn the map function on it shows up Reading (which is where the car comes from) and not my area? The nav function works fine and when approaching a junction the local map pops up but in between it reverts to Reading!!! Can anyone shed any light on this??

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Mine does not do this, so it is not correct operation. I did once get it stuck where is thought I was at Heathrow whatever happened, but the navigation also did not do anything. However, turning the car off and on, and moving the cursor to select the correct current position cleared it. I suggest you play with it a bit. I will look at some of the settings later.

POST 3Original post

Mine pings into action showing current location.

POST 5Original post
