Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am a bit shocked how little is available used on the west coast

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have used it myself and it's a little bit of a rodeo but it worked out for me.
Ive found some 996 turbo twist wheels I want for purchase, problem is Im in Oregon and they are in rural New York. Wheels with tires mounted (newish pilot sports) apparently are right around 150 lbs causing weight surcharge. FedEx and UPS charging over $150 per wheel. Shipping broker also not able to find anyone yet to deliver.
on eBay folks only charging $200-250 to ship wheels? Does anyone have any ideas to get these shipped that isnt cost prohibitive?
I gotta get some 18s, the 17s dong do the car justice!

, I've used them to ship a kitchen vent hood and my CO2 blaster that I sold from IL to CA. I think Uship might be better as it usually just a guy with a trailer or truck and he can easily ship them without them being packaged.
I've had OK luck with USPS lately, see what the cost would be shipping individually. Or, another option is Greyhound. I know it sounds lame, but they sell the empty luggage space under the bus and can ship bigger items. I've done hoods and bumpers that way. You have to drop off and pick up at the terminal though. Last obscure option to try is Fastenal. Again, drop off and pick up at the stores, but they will do cheap pallet loads.
UPS has a discount program for Ebay sellers.

The reality though is that shipping wheels+tires retail across the continent is going to be expensive. Unless these are mint hollow spokes, I'd set up CL and FB alerts on the west coast and wait.
yeah Ive listed them but over $1000 to ship just wont work for me. These are wheels, not a car.

Have the seller wrap each one in plastic and bring it down to the bus station. Personally I've never done, but I've read lots of thread here over the years that it's the cheapest way to ship wheels.
I found a set locally in the sticks and my buddy works at Les Schwab and hooked me up on some continentals. Shipping wheels with tires just is pointless anymore.
I had a thought this morning, how about checking with moving companies? They probably make coast to coast runs and don't like empty moving trucks, or at least not full trucks. Or, just take a cheap flight, rent a U-Haul and drive home. Sounds like it would be cheaper than shipping costs.
I don't know if they still do it. That one is dated 2021 and it's now 2024. I have used it myself and it's a little bit of a rodeo but it worked out for me. Your mileage May vary.
Lol wow, I shipped my 996 in an enclosed trailer from Oregon to NY for only $700 more. 4 wheels $1800 vs a whole car for $2500, that does seem like some crazy prices jeeze what are they smokin
