Took the wife for a long drive up through Sussex County and into NY last Sunday, and have adjusted my route to and from work to take advantage of certain roads.

It must be the one that is also used for the rear foglight because the dash keeps giving me the warning that the rear fog light is out.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I had the problem with the ABS/PSM failure light coming om (which I still need to have the dealer takea look at) and now I have a taillight out. It must be the one that is also used for the rear foglight because the dash keeps giving me the warning that the rear fog light is out. I just hope this is the start of a string of electrical issues. Did anyone else have any electrical/lights issues so far. I will let everyone know how things turn out - it is raining here in NJ today so it will have to wait until next week. PS - Had the car up to 122mph yesterday on an open strip on the highway - handled like a dream - could have went even faster but I will save those speeds for the track. I am certainly not advocating going this fast on public roads - but there was nobody on the road except me and my Cayman so I let her flex her muscles. When I hit 122 I think I was only at 3500rpms. I'm in love......

POST 2Original post

Hey - good to see another NJ Cayman owner, I actually passed the first one I've seen other than mine just yesterday (I took delivery 1/11). Any favorite drive locations you'd recommend?

POST 3Original post

RcayR, I was hoping that there would only be a few of us in NJ. Where did you buy from? I got mine from Schnieder & Nelson in Eatontown. The car is great but it is hard to find any places to open it up (where it is safe, not loaded with other cars and where our friendly law enforcers are not present). I am looking forward to getting out for a track day but am not sure where? My 'crocet-rocket' is artic silver so if you see me on the road, flash the headlights. Enjoy the great car!

POST 4Original post

Frankie - I got mine at Paul Miller in Parsippany. It is tough to find open road most of the time I agree. Took the wife for a long drive up through Sussex County and into NY last Sunday, and have adjusted my route to and from work to take advantage of certain roads. I'll keep an eye out for youwhen down your way, I'll be in the Basalt Black with Carrera Classic shoes. Enjoy!

POST 5Original post

Yo Frankie & RCayR: I'm originally from Union county, now live north/west of Philly. Come out west if you want some nice roads. There are great roads off 78/22 near the PA/NJ border. Also, just west of King of Prussia some nice stuff. If your ever out this way let me know (but wait 'till mid March). I also get up to Union county often...maybe we'll pass. Keep on motoring /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/drive.gif
