Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Firstly, would there be any issue in using such parts on a UK-spec car (I'm actually thinking about getting the complete harness rather than just the switch)?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hopefully a quick question (or two questions!)... I've had the problem with my rear spoiler traced back to a faulty microswitch. Having had a look around, I can find them for sale but, for some reason, only in the US. Firstly, would there be any issue in using such parts on a UK-spec car (I'm actually thinking about getting the complete harness rather than just the switch)? Secondly, is there anywhere in the UK I could source this from, rather than getting it shipped from the US? Any advice gratefully received!
