Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am looking at buying a 2000 996 C2 manual with 60K miles on it for 26,000. Is this a good price or should I try to push for a lower price? This is a private seller so there are pluses and minuses to it. The Car has no mods and seems to be stock with few options other then heated seats and upgraded factory audio. Any advise would be great. thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

That sounds like a very fair price assuming a clean PPI. What options does it have?

POST 3Original post

A customer of our just got a quote for his pristene 2001 cab with 55k miles at our local Dealership for a trade in. $15,000. I told him I would give him 16,000 (with a smile) and he didn't bite
