Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I have an 2008 Cayman 2.7 and found that when going over bumps the seat was rocking around. I took the seats out and found that the seat back latch mechanism can easily pop loose with some jiggling of the seat back. The seat back doesn’t actually flip forward because of a secondary safety catch but the movement it does make is very noticeable when driving. I’ve checked all the bolts I can reasonably get to without removing the upholstery and it all seems good. Anyone know of a common fix for this?

Following…. Have a similar noise with mine 👍🏻

POST 3Original post

I haven't found a solution for this but it has become less noticeable over time. I suppose I'm just getting used to it.
