The wiring compatibility is a concern for me because it would be problematic with setting off codes in the system.

Does anyone else have experience changing seats in a 996 ? Mine current seat has a plug in. How do you handle this ? I was wanting to put a Panamera seat in my 911.

OP - Not really understanding what you need. What seats are in the 996 now? Rails and all the connectors for Panamera to 996 may be a bit ambitious. Have you done the research for any compatibility concerns?

Wiring will 100% be different, you would also need all of the seat modules for the Panamera for it to work. Also does the Panamera have the airbag in the seat? If so, I doubt you will be able to get that to work, as all the wiring for the airbag for the 996 is in the door, and is likely very different. I also don't that the seat will physically fit. Panamera seats are taller and wider. Seems like an interesting project. Post photos if you get it done.
