Because....I can't get over how cool this car is. I thought the GT4rs was special....then they go and do GT3rs things. I think what does it for me, is the adjustment of ptv, dampers, etc. All neatly displayed on the dash. Even someone like me, who doesn't change suspension settings can see how much fun that would be on track, especially if you belong to a club and can spend endless hours out there with this thing. So...what would a 30 year loan look like on one of these? lol
Sir do the tall gears work? We don't know, we're US citizens so it's a three speed.
$250K list price, plus the $100K ADM most are going to ask for. Of course that won't matter considering that is pocket change for the few that will be allowed to get a shot at one of them initially. Unobtanium for the rest until they start hitting the auction block from the flippers
Luckily for us ICNU, the DNA runs strong in the Porsche car family, the dismissed models have plenty of secret sauce. Every time I look in Panorama at the ads I get a craving to drive a 914 another dismissed model stained with the sacrilege of VW (oh no was your 986 made in Finland? it never ended
) I'd love to drive the 911 that started this thread too but I'd pick a Carrera GT first if there was a choice.
I’ll be honest… it’s probably the best sports car ever, but the GT2/3RS cars 991/992 have gotten big, lots of little pieces everywhere etc and we all know they serve a purpose..I’d still take a non-RS GT3 every time for appearance. They still look like a 911… this car, looks… it’s a little much on some angles…
This new RS will crush everything. It’s funny how we see all the manufacturers showing the full deck now that the end is near… cuz it is. AP even stated in another interview I saw, don’t get this car unless your tracking it. It won’t be good on the street much at all
If you ever plan on driving it on the street... The only number that is glaring to me is the spring rate. 50% more than std GT3. This thing is going to be stiff.
It’s not a street car at all… it’s a great car but the more I stare at it, all the holes kinda make me like the GT3 better…I would never get one. Porsche is putting all the cards on the table (their not alone) because the inevitable isn’t far off now
