Suggestion
The only one's I felt worked well and easy to clean were professional done epoxy paint.

I guess RD has a solution using some type of underlayment.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just installed RaceDeck garage floor and I'm really liking it. Took longer to clean out / put back everything in than do the install.
Let me know what you think of the results.

Wondering how they will stand up with floor jacks and jack stands. I have a friend that did his basement floor with RD and it looks great, but when you walk on it, it will make a noise due to the floor not being perfectly level. I guess RD has a solution using some type of underlayment.
I'm not sure if it's "better" but I like the way it looks and that dirt/water flow through it. Go to
Garage Flooring and shop flooring - RaceDeck Garage Floors
and check it out.
I used the free-flow. I may add some of the diamond into the middle at some point. I really like the product and it was less expensive than having a company come out and epoxy the floor.
so with the free flow are fluids that are spilled on the tiles channeled out of the garage, or do they just go through the tiles and sit on the concrete floor?
Any fluids would sit under it unless you hose it out or pull up a few tiles and shop-vac them out.
The other tiles they offer are solid.

That looks really nice! I need something like that. I have one of those "butt ugly concrete garage floors".
The garage where I keep my motorcycles has regular tile but that would not work for a car garage.

While the floor looks great I don't think it would work for me. I sweep out my painted concrete floor almost weekly and the amount of dirt that gets tracked or blown in would all end up underneath the flooring you show. Not something I want to deal with so a closed tile would be my only consideration.
The product I have probably would not work well for you in that case. I would go a year + without sweeping my garage before - may never do it now [emoji6]

It's been a little over a week now in the new house and it's almost time to start working on making the garage a little more finished
As nice as the Griot's Garage floor paint appears to be, the preparation work seems a little too much for us right now so I thought I'd learn and explore other garage flooring options out there. I'm sure some, perhaps many of you, have done a little treatment to your garage floor. If so, post some pictures and provide some details.
I've tried a number of things, carpet, those mats from Griot's Garage, paint from Home Depot. The only one's I felt worked well and easy to clean were professional done epoxy paint.
These pics are in reverse order, the first is pro epoxy, the second Griot's map and bottom carpet runners.
Wow, you had the floor recessed for the lift? Nice touch! Bet that was a messy jack hammer project. I previously tried DIY epoxy coatings but could not get floor prepped well enough prior to application to avoid the tires from lifting the paint so I switched to the Swisstrax tiles too. They worked well covering a dusty stained floor and are professional looking.
My new garage had a commercial grade epoxy coating already applied to it that is bulletproof and repels oil like water. Also seems to have some texture, so not to slippery when wet. The black tape was added for front camera reference to keep my wife in her lane. She was always parking too close to my passenger side and risked door dinging me. She has been known to remove a mirror or two on the garage door frame too🙄.
Those color chips are a really nice finish but I find they can be a visual nightmare if you drop small parts or nuts/screws on the floor. Can’t tell you the number of times I had to sweep the floor with a magnetic bar to find stuff I dropped that disappeared into the camouflage like black chips. Maybe that is why most professional shop floors I have seen in dealerships are mostly pale grey.
My floor is tan with brown and black chips. I think the blue color is easier to see stuff on, or maybe I am just losing my sight. My old floor was epoxy painted (not the commercial stuff, but rustoleum version) and was not as bad finding small stuff that I dropped.
Augie, I have been thinking about doing the pit/scissor lift thing. If you don't mind, roughly, what did it set you back for the pit for the scissor lift? Did they dig down deep and put a foundation in there to support the lift? It looks great !
