Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I am a Porsche newbie. I recently bought a 2000 Carerra 4 Cabriolet. Several things need attention the first of which is a very slow operating Convertible top. I understand it is a hydraulic system. Questions: 1) How do I explore the hydraulic system, to check if it is low on hydraulic fluid. 2)If this is not the fix do I replace the motor(s)? 3)Anyone know of a schematic that can help me. 4) How difficult is it to disconnect the hydraulic system and go manual if it goes out on me while on a trip? Thanks, Andy T

POST 2Original post

I remember seeing somewhere in the owners manual the way to raise the top manually. I will look again and get back to you. E
