Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Went looking for troubleshooting information on some CEL's in the service manual this morning and found a whole bunch of pages missing. Does any one have the pages that cover P0493 through P1500? Specifically I am working to chase down a combination of P0430, P1109, & P1341. THanks!

POST 2Original post

There is plenty of information on a P1341 code for a 996.1 engine on the forum. It is highly possible that the three codes are all related to the same fault: the Bank 1 Actuator for Variocam. Not an easy repair, by the way.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's what I have been leaning towards. I have a 996.2 C4S, I thought the those actuators were external and weren't a terrible fix? I am really trying to figure out if they are all connected to the actuator, or if they are separate (aka. cat conv., actuator, MAF, and O2 sensor)

POST 4Original post

You should assume that they are all connected, for now. Fix the P1341 code and see if anything else shows back up. On the 996.2, the solenoid is fairly easy to get to, not cheap though. The 996.1 would be much harder.

POST 5Original post

Ghost100 PM me your email and I will send you a Dropbox link with the service manual and other information.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
