Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've had this error code for a few months, it appeared after I got back from a road trip to Le Mans Classic. MOT is due soon do I need to get this sorted. Guides seem to mention a wiring issue so I need to have a look at the under seat connections and the air bag itself. Does anyone have any other pointers? - interestingly the Tiptronic buttons are a little unreliable in the they sometimes just don't work or very unresponsive. Clock spring problem?

POST 2Original post

as you said most likely a wiring degradation issue if you have issues with the Tip button then the sign of a bigger issue with the wiring

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im now getting ‘code 21’ after removing and refitting the clock spring. Need to order a new clock spring by the looks of it

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New clock spring and all the issues are resolved
