Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, I just purchased wheels that are 18x9 +46 and 18X11 +50. Fenders are rolled and camber will be adjusted accordingly. The purpose of the car is a weekend canyon car. Not sure about track days yet, but that is not completely out of the picture. Apex Wheels website recommends 235/40 and 295/30 (GT3 Tire), but I believe the 235/40 up front is a bit stretch looked on a 9" Wide wheel. I was thinking of going 245/40 up front and 295/30 in the rear. But is the diameter ratio correct for the system to not throw any PSM and ABS codes? Or would I have to go up to 315/30 in the rear? I've searched for days, and cannot seem to get a solid answer.

POST 2Original post

As a fellow C4 owner I would go 245/40 and 285/35. That gives you a front diameter of 25.7" and rear 25.9"... Which is within 3% of the original 25.1" front, 25.3 rear and you still keep the same 0.2" split front to rear. 235/40 = 25.4" 295/30 is only 25" so your front would be taller than this rear.
