Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

To be clear, I'm using a Motive pressure bleeder, but is this a ridiculous line of thinking?
Leading evidence: 'Use motive pressure bleeder' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use motiv pressure bleeder' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Then again, I am a complete hack working on my car and paranoid one day I'll have to use the tire wall as brakes at about 100MPH.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So, I'm getting ready to swap some brake lines and a master cylinder on my 03 C2 and while I understand the conventional wisdom is to do the inside bleeder, the outside bleeder and then the inside bleeder again, I'm thinking I could save some of that labor by hooking catch bottles to both caliper bleeders and cracking them open. To be clear, I'm using a Motive pressure bleeder, but is this a ridiculous line of thinking?
You really in that big of a hurry ? It takes the time it takes, it takes the labor it takes.
There are other places to take shortcuts, this is not one of them in my opinion. I take my time, bleed the outer, then inner. Then again, I am a complete hack working on my car and paranoid one day I'll have to use the tire wall as brakes at about 100MPH. So, take it FWIW.
PS - Think about putting the GT3 master in for a firmer, more positive pedal.
My go to bleeding procedure is good old gravity. I open all bleeders (with hoses to bottles of course), and let gravity do it's thing while I keep an eye on the fluid level, this takes at least an hour. This may not work if you have PSM. In fact, if you have PSM my understanding is you need it hooked up to a Porsche or durametric computer to open/close valves properly. But I don't have PSM and I've never personally bled one.
If I'm in a hurry I use my motiv pressure bleeder...
Have never heard of this procedure before. Not sure if I'd trust gravity to remove all old fluid and any air bubbles from the system completely, but to each their own and as long as you feel confident in the work I suppose. I just did the braided lines and full flush 2 weeks ago and basically did what zbomb mentioned. The power bleeder makes this so easy I'm not sure why do it any other way. FWIW, I stopped assigning any sort of time frame for any job any longer. The moment you say or think it something will go wrong and the hour job becomes a multi-day adventure. When swapping the lines my primary objective was to ensure I had the right tools and did everything possible not to round round off those brake line connectors.
