Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

After discounting my ideas on the non-running gamble (thanks everyone!) I'm currently trying to put together a shortlist of cars to view.
Leading evidence: 'Run gamble (thanks everyone!) i'm currently trying' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run gamble (thanks everyone!) i'm currently trying' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After discounting my ideas on the non-running gamble (thanks everyone!) I'm currently trying to put together a shortlist of cars to view. Obviously they're spread around so I want to make sure I can (as far as is possible) write off the ones that are likely to be total dogs so I can minimise the travelling!
This C2 cab seems very cheap, though not necessarily suspiciously so. Does anyone happen to know it or its owner? Doesn't mention IMS, but I guess as it's a 3.4 it's probably not as much of a concern?

I could spend a bit more money and get something from somebody like Eporsch in Surrey, as they seem to always have some good stock and seem very reputable. I'm of a mind that it's probably worth the slight premium to buy from Eporsch for the added peace of mind - would you agree?
That's a decent car. Has heated hardback sports seats and cruise control which is a bit of a rarity and costly to retrofit if you don't have them. IMS will be of no concern on that. Also a 3.4 so no bore scoring. I'd be all over that like a tramp on chips if I wanted one.
PS: No I don't know the car.
If your after a convertible then his looks like a good option, it will have the due
Row iMS and little chance of bore score. Low miles and good history. Looks great if it’s not already sold
I’ve bought in two cars from ePorsch and their aftercare has always been excellent if anything needed looking at. Well worth the premium in my opinion.
That has been for sale for a long time - it was up when i was looking back in May but at £13k
Looked quite clean to me at the time, but i was looking for a non-silver car and a tip (other than that it was perfect
)
I think it'll be a goer at that price. Can't see anything wrong with it apart from the usual worn out parts. Doing the stuff yourself means bills will be cheap and you'll have a decent motor well under budget.
