I’m sure the display can be replaced but for the costs in doing it you can have a more up to date replacement like the one you mentioned.

I’m replacing a CDR22 as although it sounds fine (speakers upgraded) the right hand control button is very sticky and LED display is missing many characters (not sure if this can be fixed or replaced).

Has anyone tried any of the single din android auto head units? Looking at the dimensions, although they are single din for the unit, the display seems bigger than single din. I wonder how they fitted. Does the front stand pro dud, does it overlap any other controls etc. Are they any good and any specific model recommendations? I’m also considering a balupunkt head unit - like the Milano etc if the android auto single din units are not a viable option. I’m replacing a CDR22 as although it sounds fine (speakers upgraded) the right hand control button is very sticky and LED display is missing many characters (not sure if this can be fixed or replaced). The continental has a retro sort of look but I’m not sure how they compare to the Blaupunkt. It could be worth you getting a second opinion from a good car audio shop if you have one locally
