maybe change the stereo to sth more modern with apple play but that's it.

just picked up this car from Joss (JBOY) and true gent.
lovely example on 67k miles, cherished over the years and in great condition for a 22 year old car.
just plan to drive it and enjoy it as they are well specced from OEM
i had a gen 2 996 gt3 for many years in guards red and this is a nice half way to a GT3 from C2. the X51 engine is great and pulls well with a nice howl at the top. MO30 is ideal for road work and our rubbish UK roads.

Have taken it off but put in the door bin ;-)
The gt3 is still a very different car and much harsher and raw. Stiffer shell, much firmer billie coilovers, that manic and crazy revving merger engine which is next level up . Plus the bigger brakes, tyres and everything dialled up 50 per cent. When that mezger goes beyond 7.5k rpm it’s a manic spine tingling noise and sensation that goes through the whole car
Downside of that is that they are very harsh on our roads and ideal for track work or European smooth roads . The 40 Anni has much nicer road manners and has great handling on the mo30, good grip and turn in. It’s a very charming car and it will grow on me a lot am sure . Maybe some braided brake lines all round to help the pedal have more feel and bite

Anyone know what colour and name is for the interior to get some leather dye for steering wheel and gear knob? I read it might be dark natural grey?
Welcome to the club - I've had #698 for 11 years now and still going strong. Think you are right on how the leather colour is described - Natural Grey- but always seemed to be a bit of a misnomer as its more black than grey.
