Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

A new item for the 2007-08 GT3 & GT3 RS models. This is the same set which comes on the 2010 GT3, and we just installed them on a 2007 GT3. They are a direct fit, some minor triming of the brake shield is required. They pull air from the underside of the car, and channel it to the rear brake system. This results in lower brake temperatures leading to greater braking performance under high loads, as well as reduced wear. Please contact me if you have any questions.

POST 2Original post

You know we really need front radiator vents that exit outside the body of the car instead of into the front wheel well, one of the reasons some people suffer brake fade on hot days their radiators are dumping hot air into their brakes...

POST 3Original post

K-Man...did you ever find any kind of front brake ducts? Have you heard if these rear ducts help?

POST 4Original post

This is quite important for a 997 GT3 as the rear brakes + PSM et al activate the rear brakes a TON - indeed rear brake pad wear is DOUBLE...yes double that of the front. Those rears get hot!

POST 5Original post

Thanks Craig...would you reccomend those that Suncoast lists above?

POST 6Original post

110%. Suncoast is a GREAT place for these kinds of parts - I send dozens of customers to Suncoast.

POST 9Original post

That's going to depend on whether or not the rear arms are the same for both the GT3 and the C2, I don't know for sure if they are but I bet if you call Suncoast, tell them you saw it here, they'd be able to help you out!
