I've got Porsche ones and they seem to have held up well - I replaced the bolts with stainless fixings however as the standard fasteners corroded pretty fast.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I must have gone through around 5 sets of these since buying my 996 and have never had much joy with them doing a proper job. I bought some from Eurocarparts on 23rd December 2020 which have now perforated and dropped to bits, so they were a total waste of money. In fact I think they've all come from ECP that I've had in the past. Price including their discount was £30 for a pair. Part is here: https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/klarius-exhaust-clamp-712440201 Anyway, after fitting my new manifolds and seeing how cruddy they were after only 9 months I decided to try something different. I bought these 304 Stainless Steel sleeves the other day from Profusion Exhausts: https://www.profusionexhausts.com/2...ust-pipe-joiner-connector-sleeve-tube-repair/ £24 delivered for the pair including clamps. Fitted them on Friday with plenty of Holts Firegum. The sleeves did come with 60mm clamps. I had a full set of 57mm clamps which were a tighter fit round the sleeves so fitted them instead. Hopefully I should get longer that 9 months out of these and they were £6 cheaper, although that's irrelevant when fitting them involves removing both back boxes. Will report back once I encounter any problems with them, although I can't see that happening for some time

POST 2Original post

Good idea. They look longer than the usual ones?? I like mikalor stainless clamps. They fitted very easily to my boxster banana tubes.

POST 3Original post

+1 for the Mikalor clamps Nice work Alex :thumb:

Just for reference, this was one of the 9 month old sleeves I removed, supplied by Euro car parts:

POST 7Original post

I am about to have to replace these and have been looking at various options. Was also looking at some VW/Audi parts I thought may work but no luck yet! These suggested 304 ones look like are very good cost effective better alternative. I do like the style of the bracket on the original and the ECP ones better though!
