Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

We have had the car two weeks now and covered 261 miles in total. It has been around the M25 once to work near Hemel Hempstead which was 112 miles, a journey back from the dealer when purchased and several local journeys.
I am getting into the groove with handling, very different to my fwd Mini Cooper S lighter at the front with the back pushing the car along. The only thing I can’t figure is the rear wiper and the original radio has a few lcd digits not working but works fine.
Most of the roads around here have speed cameras so 40 mph but I have given it some stick and got 27-28 mpg which is way more than I expected. That’s with Shell V-Power.
Tuesday it gets new front Boots, Conti SC7s as the SC2s on are 9 years old and Friday it will be the drive to Goodwood Revival, I imagine I won’t be getting the same fuel economy on the way there!
The week after Goodwood it is in for a few things not done in the service schedule although the service history is ridiculous, I am just being picky. Transmission oil, front diff oil, brake fluid, plugs and maybe the poly belt are on the list.
I think so far so good is the best way to put it.
What a car….
The only downside a driver using our drive as a turnaround has just caught the front and paint has cracked….
I made a little spine for my folder of bills MOTs etc! I hope you like it!
Can't figure the rear wiper as in it doesn't work or you haven't worked out how it works? The button is next to the radio, mines to the left but I've seen it on the right too - must depend on options and trim.
Fuel economy wise I get about 27 on a motorway run or in areas of consistent speed.
Lovely colour too but I may be biased.
Doesn't get any better than a 99 C4.........enjoy.
Rear wiper button is indeed next to the stereo... it doesn't work in conjunction with the front wipers... press it once and the wiper sweeps twice... no washer jets either.
Thank you Teddligton about the colour and you and Skoosh about the rear wiper. I have tried pressing it but not joy....

If it helps, the trim piece with the buttons on comes off in all of about five seconds - mine comes off if I pull something out the 12v socket too abruptly.
The plugs don't quite seat all the way down on the terminals so you ought to be able to jam a probe in and work out if it's triggering when you press it.
The switches also come out easier than the plugs come off the back of them though, so be careful, I punched my radio when it released the first time.
Be very careful what transmisision fluid you put in the gearbox, and in the front diff, but gearbox you can ruin the gearchange.
Try and find some PTX 75w90.
If not use the Motul semi synth Motyl Gear 75w90 and NOT the Motul 300!!!!
Ignore all 'specialists' when it comes to this.
Redline 75w90 I have also found OK, but can't remember which version, there are two.
