Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'd drill some holes to remove most of the material from the depression then use a file to make it a rectangle of the correct size

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anybody have experience of fitting this, it comes with a slight pressing to show where the cutouts are, but down to you to actually cut them out, I’ve done the first couple with a dremel and they aren’t pretty! Any advice on a better way to make the slots?

POST 2Original post

I'd drill some holes to remove most of the material from the depression then use a file to make it a rectangle of the correct size

POST 3Original post

Can you make a metal template to clamp over it. Just the size of one square.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I drilled some holes to start filing, but it sort of stalled, I’m not very confident the holes will align though!

POST 6Original post

I put two holes in the middle of mine, pulled it round and screwed the corners. Been on for about 3 years now
