Has anyone had air leaks from the rubber hoses on the inlet manifold? I’ve got a 2003 cabriolet and I’ve been told it’s an engine out job! Help!

Do you have pictures of the leaking areas? Hopefully a smoke test was done? You can generally try to repair leaking hoses with tape or compounds instead of replacing, I remember seeing a guide for the oil tube here recently.

Depends which hoses you mean! Access to some of them can be difficult, others, once you remove the inlet manifold can be accessed fairly easily without removing the engine.
