This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I'm not sure why anyone would have been insulted by Nick (NLW73) and the question of his PCGB membership arising (implying that a member can get away with it?) as, as far as I saw he used enough smiley faces (2) to start off with and he also counted himself as one of the Porsche owner who was being mocked.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

34 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Maybe I could be so bold as to recommend this book for your perusal "How to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegi. Ant.

POST 3Original post

Can you tell me why a non member has posted what I consider to be an insulting post. maybe he/she should grow up a little.

POST 4Original post

Only two proper Porsches, all the others have their engines at the wrong end

POST 5Original post

Think it was supposed to be humour - just hit the wrong nerve? He forgot to insult the Cayennes though [&:] He might be a member - but because we don't use his companies product to link the databases, he still needs to email in his info as per my sig below [ ] (Come on Nick - it will take 10 min for you to link our membership and forum databases won't it ? [ ])

POST 7Original post

I thought it was quite amusing. Of course there may be a few accuracies that could upset sensitive owners. The truth always hurts[:-]. Someone needs to add the Cayenne and earlier Porsches.

POST 8Original post

I'm not sure why anyone would have been insulted by Nick (NLW73) and the question of his PCGB membership arising (implying that a member can get away with it?) as, as far as I saw he used enough smiley faces (2) to start off with and he also counted himself as one of the Porsche owner who was being mocked. See it start: This is how I took it: Nick saw this posted somewhere else and found it amusing and decided to share it with us and not something he would have created to specifically target the forum members. I found it very amusing, though it might have been better presented (in this PC world) as hairdressers rather than taking cheap shots at people's sexual preferences!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think it's hilarious. I've got a Boxster and I thought nothing of it. No sense of humour some people.

POST 11Original post

I laughed so much that I went out and let my gay car drive me around really fast... and it really scared me being the namby pamby (how did they know that [ ]) that I am.. garyw

POST 12Original post

Im so offended I've put my 996 up for sale in the local paper, I just cant live with this car any longer after this post[8|]

POST 13Original post

made me laugh too. i couldn't care less what others think about me owning Porsches.. the only thing that annoys me is that most people seem to presume they belong to my husband. i've had comments like...oooh and has he let you drive them [ ]

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sorry, non related reply. Helen, your Cayenne S didn't happen to be pulling your 930 Slantnose North up the A1M on a trailer on Monday morning did it? I was heading South, saw a black Cayenne pulling an absolutly immaculate silver slatnose. Sorry for the off topic question[ ]

POST 15Original post

POST 17Original post

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's the one[ ] I'm sure the Cayenne is very nice, but that 930 really looked fantastic. Even when I was going the other way at "something" mph.

POST 19Original post

POST 21 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

chrikey Jonathan W chill out mate! it was meant as a bit of fun and good to see that some of us can laugh about it and that you noticed the smiley faces. I did in fact lift it from pistonheads as I thought it was great! I was cracking up when I read it with a mate who has just bought a GT2! his missus won't go near the thing and is convinced she will be a widow soon! I have got a 996 so think I qualify for your little stuffy club!! just not got round to it. thanks to all those who found it funny for your support and kind words!!! thanks god it is the weekend eh folks! my old 5hitter which is not air cooled, looks odd at the front needs a clean! but it sounds great with the PSE, puts a huge smile on my face so I don't really car what all the stuffy air cooled owners think [ ] least it don't sound like some old washing machine on a fast spin and I don;t have boiled sweet for working the heaters!! 996 C2 cos i can,t afford a turbo either either [ ][ ] Mark Bennet, cheers for the link and will join up!!

POST 23Original post

Better late then never, I agree. A bit juvenile for my liking.

POST 24Original post

That is one of the most supercilious posts I have ever seen

POST 26Original post

Indeed a prime example of Marc B throwing stones in a greenhouse: "Bentley GT. An old fat mans car, unless you're a footballer of course" some people's hypocrisy make you want to vomit

POST 27Original post

What does supercilious mean[ ] Ant. P.S. this is the problem with driving a Porsche, everyones far too intelligent[ ] I never had this problem on the Ford forums[ ]

POST 28Original post

It's a super bug which grows in size by showing ego...[8|]
