I appreciate not everyone likes to see these fitted but my car was originally supplied with this option along with a limited slip diff and MO30 suspension so I intend to keep as it was.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Evening all. I have an early 3.4 996 manual with a factory fitted GT3 aero kit. Over time the side skirts have become loose and need re-attaching. Does anyone know whether Porsche supply a fitting kit? I think I once read somewhere that they are held in place with special double sided adhesive tape - or perhaps I am mistaken. I appreciate not everyone likes to see these fitted but my car was originally supplied with this option along with a limited slip diff and MO30 suspension so I intend to keep as it was. Thanks & regards. Zeusy.

POST 2Original post

You can buy automotive panel tape at Halfrauds. There are no doubt better and cheaper suppliers but unlikely as convenient.

POST 3Original post

There isn't a fitting kit as such, but I have a copy of the instructions for retrofitting the Aerokit Cup, which shows all the clips and adhesive, etc. If you would like a copy, drop me a PM with your email address.
