Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

1999 Porsche C4. My a/c is running ambient temperature again. I may have lost my refrigerant again. Where is the fitting for charging the a/c located? Also, there is something called a sight glass for monitoring freon level. Where is that located? I'm hoping my a/c problem is from debris as once before. This time I cleaned out the junk myself and hope a recharge is all that it need. Here is the complete previous diagnosis from the Porsche dealership. "Refrigerant level was empty, evacuate and recharge (2lbs 134a) check for leaks--none found, check system orp-high side pressure is very high and appears to be caused by the condensers being clogged by leaves and other debris. Clean the cond. and recheck orp-ok. The clogged condensers may have caused the overpressure valve to open and dump the ref." Thanks. Constantine Kliorys PCA #2004039038
