Yes, did my 996 C4 and 986S, both reasonably easily....I say reasonably as I then changed the reg on the 996 and the compliance dropped out, took a little bit of back and forth with TFL, but we got there in the end.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I have just received the form for CoC for a ‘99 911 996 C4. Are people finding submission of the form to be a success with TfL, or am I just wasting my time? Has anyone been through this very recently? Many thanks, Phil.

POST 2Original post

What is your NOx figure? I can't see how they can deny it if you're NOx is below 0.08.

POST 3Original post

Got mine done on a 98 C2 996, super easy to do.

POST 5Original post

I was going to do mine, but noticed that when the V5 was renewed, they automatically made it ULEZ compliant!

POST 7Original post

Ha ha ha....easy...........! Tfl will mess you about, be persistent ! It took me 5 attempts. Then they did not update the database leading to 3 x 190 quid fines in 3 days, finally after 10 email exchanges all was well. Never give up, never surrender with tfl.

POST 8Original post

Yea done mine with tfl a couple of months ago- very easy /straightforward and fast. 996 c4 1999 - good luck!

POST 9Original post

TfL put my 2000 986 S through in 4 working days once V5 and CoC were submitted. This was back in 2021 and on the application I highlighted the NOx number and the section of the CoC is was in so they didn't have to trawl through the German to work it out themselves. The CAZ system for other cities took about 8 weeks to sort with some back and forth.

POST 10Original post

I did for my 1999 996 C4 and my 1997 Boxster, dead easy to do.

POST 11Original post

Hi AllatSea, Thank you for your reply. Did it just automatically reset on the Tfl ULEZ checker quickly or did it take a while? My V5 has no Euro status or Cc2 and NoX. info on it. Many thanks, Phil.

POST 13Original post

I don't get why you guys affected by these zones do nothing about them, I'm sure you all pay enough other taxes. Since petrol cars were fitted with cats and o2 sensors their emissions dropped more than 100x . Back in the 80s there was probably 1/2 the vehicles but the overall emissions from them was massively higher. How come its only vehicles targeted, household boilers have similar emission levels but not a word about them.

POST 14Original post

Don't worry Mac, our government is looking to ban gas boilers too!

POST 15Original post

Yeah thats just as insane too. Replace gas boilers with electric heat pumps powered by the renewable electricity we don't and will never have. Last year wind provided 7.3gw out of the 32gw average daily electric usage. Were using 32gw now, imagine how much it will be when all the vehicles and building heating are electric! There was an item on the news saying how wind provided more electric than other forms of generation on that particular day, kind of giving the message that were nearly there. Strange how there was no mention of the week last Dec when there was a certain common weather pattern over the UK when the wind didn't blow for a week. That week wind provided 4% of our current electric demand or less than 1% of our energy total energy usage! Totally insane!
