I checked the coolant which was pretty low so I added about half a litre but nothing out of the normal.

It's been like this for maybe a month, in fact ever since I had it in a Porsche specialist workshop (to change a broken gear linkage).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

And that's for driving in London during winter when it's about 5-10 degrees out but no difference really compared to summer with 25-30 degrees.

And not in a good way. It doesn't like anything is necessarily broken but it just sounds less. Like a cold start driving down my road with the windows down in 1st gear at around 3k rpm and you could hear that amazing growl. I don't have that anymore. I should also add that I have a Sport Exhaust fitted (by an earlier owner). It's been like this for maybe a month, in fact ever since I had it in a Porsche specialist workshop (to change a broken gear linkage). At least it was after that I started noticing it. Engine is running pretty hot (although not hotter than it has since I got the car a few years ago) at up to about 95-97 degrees but never above that. And that's for driving in London during winter when it's about 5-10 degrees out but no difference really compared to summer with 25-30 degrees. I checked the coolant which was pretty low so I added about half a litre but nothing out of the normal. I'll check again once the engine has cooled down. It's due for an annual service right about now so will take it to a Porsche Center. But wanted to check here if somebody recognises this at all as I'm a bit paranoid to drive it and potentially cause damage. I realise all this sounds a bit vague perhaps but yeah. Let me know.
