This winter I have the unenviable task of removing the whole dashboard to attempt to trace a rattle / buzz. I’ve done partial removal of various sections to no avail. This really is the last resort! A forcible press with the heel of the hand, on the leather above the centre air vent will make it stop. Is there anything else I should do while its in bits? Already in plan…. Double din to single din stereo swap with MOST amp / CD changer removal. Ignition switch Ventilation ducting clean Reasonably cheap suggestions welcome!

While you on it have you considered a bottom section colour change..? There's a 987 Boxster online at the mo with a black and red dash that looks mint and really breaks the monotone nature of the cabin. Just a thought.
