I’m a bit stuck with OPC, because warranty needs to be renewed next year.

I think a couple of south coast OPCs (Southampton??) offer as much as 25% for PCGB discount, Tonbridge where I used saved me £700 which was made up by the PCGB discount and being cheaper to start.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi my 992.1T is coming up for its 2 year service anyone have any recommendations / cost information? I m in South Yorkshire
Thanks
Mine has just had its 2 year service, cost me £950. Apparently my rears have just 3 months in them despite having 4mm of tread, I also need to urgently address the pollen filter as the app keeps reminding me. I have zero trust or time these days.

Nice car.
What you must do with any 911 servicing cost is divide by two - because there's a 2 year interval. Otherwise you'll get upset.
Works for me.

Mine is going in tomorrow, quoted a similar pricing level - includes the pollen filter change
My 992.1 Carrera T had its 2 year service done at Porsche Tewkesbury in November. Price was around £1k inc filters. I also requested they don t fill up the washer fluid instead I purchased the winter fluid and didn t myself.

I've been quoted £1450 for the first 2 year service on a 2024 GT3RS. I cannot comprehend how a simple service, mainly involving oil, filter and brake fluid can be so expensive.
And why it should cost more than the already ludicrous amount you have had to pay for a Carrera T?
I might take it to my local specialist who is equally as capable and less than half the money.
I don't plan on buying an extended warranty when the original one runs out anyway.

For quite an expensive car, I wouldn't be too troubled by £1450 to be honest.

Have you tried a few dealers yet from different franchise?
I did Sheffield, Notts, Silverstone and West London (purchased car from them) when I had GT3 done. Went with Sheffield

Same for 991.2 GT3 RS too. I’m a bit stuck with OPC, because warranty needs to be renewed next year.
Just had a price for a four year service on my 992 GT3 and it's £3780! Am now contemplating going indy as have had a price of less than 1K! Just weighing up the impact on future value.....

Divide by two and it won’t seem quite as bad.

If it's a reputable Indie, you plan on keeping the car and you have no intention of extending the warranty then go for it. It gets a bit iffy if/when you come to put a Porsche extended warranty on as they will insist on doing the last service themselves (if done by an Indie) before putting the warranty on it. That may well be an issue for a new owner if they'd want to put a Porsche extended warranty on it.
I have a 992.1 GTS just about to hit four years. I’m in south bucks and my local OPC wanted £2,538. I contacted a couple of other OPCs and saved myself £700 and have a nice (possibly) drive west to look forward to.

Ouch. That’s worth knowing, mine is coming up to three years.
On a similar note, it’s not due a service this year but was wondering whether to get the oil changed. It’s done 5000 miles in the year but I’ve never liked extended service schedules. Thoughts? Anyone else get the oil changed outside the schedule?

It’s never a ‘bad’ thing to switch oil earlier than schedule, or brake fluid for that matter. Just DIYed both on mine as it is new to me. Car was never tracked but the brake futile was full of air bubbles, even though colour was still looking new.
I just DIYed my 992.1 gts as well, one off the easiest cars you will ever get to service.
its all laid out to be done in under an hour.
i took longer as im a nit picker
I wish taking the wheels off was as easy!
I haven’t a clue how to remove the sodding centre-locks!
I’m planning a couple of track days so I might do those and then replace the oil and the tyres. My days of spannering and tinkering are behind me - for now - so I think I’ll be getting someone else to do it all!

Center locks are not the simplest, but also not the worst thing. I got one of these geared torque multipliers and it’s excellent:

First time owner here, are these price ranges all from OPCs? What drives the spread, whether they're in or out of Porsche GB's HQ club?

I've just had a major on a 991.2 GTS, so plugs included, and from my research around London the OPCs that are owned by Porsche Retail Group (PRG) wouldn't negogitate or offer a discount. I also tried Glasgow, as I was up there for a few days, and they were the same price as the London PRG owned OPCs. Non PRG owned OPCs seem to be cheaper to start and most offer discount for PCGB membership. I think a couple of south coast OPCs (Southampton??) offer as much as 25% for PCGB discount, Tonbridge where I used saved me £700 which was made up by the PCGB discount and being cheaper to start.
Long story short shop around.
Thanks for all the comments just been quoted £1300 for first service. Car has covered 2500 miles! Would anyone care to share with me the OPC’s charging below £1k. PM me thanks.
