Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

So I'm looking into upgrading the clutch on my 2007 C2. First question, and maybe I should call a vendor and ask, but why is the Stage 2 Daily kit $300 less than the Stage 1? Just seems odd. Anyway, no power mods. I'm considering a turbo and engine rebuild at a later date if I keep the car. She's at almost 81k now. So I would just would like a more heavy duty clutch for now. I'm obsessive when it comes to over-engineered parts. Any reason I should look at the Stage 1 over the Stage 2? Any reason I should stick with the Sachs kit over either of the Southbend kits? Anyone have issues with the lightweight flywheels or is this considered a no-no on these cars? I see most get the OE flywheel. Just looking for comments and suggestions from those with experience. Car is subject to daily spirited driving and a periodic Tail of the Dragon run. And I'm not very kind to clutches either. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
