Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

Sorry can't help with West Mids refurbishers but if you do end up using Pristine then I can say they are very good as I have just had some done there.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Porsche Club GB: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, does anyone know of a good wheel refurb outfit in the West Midlands area, preferably near Malvern/Worcester? Cheers Tim

POST 2Original post

Hi Tim, sorry, don't know of any in the West Mids (but will be watching this thread for other replies) but the following have been recommended to me...around £150 for a refurbished split rim (this includes complete dis-assembly and restoration). http://www.pristinealloywheels.co.uk/ regards, Neil.

POST 3Original post

Sorry can't help with West Mids refurbishers but if you do end up using Pristine then I can say they are very good as I have just had some done there. A couple of us 993s have used them and been very pleased (here's the thread talking about it http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=178583&mpage=2 ). I believe they have agents around the UK although I dropped mine of at the place itself near Milton Keynes. They took a week to do. Ian.

POST 4Original post

I can also vouch for Pristine's work.. One small point which might help though - I believe they operate a collect service. If you give them a call I'm sure they'll give you details. For single piece wheels they usually take 3 days although the collect/deliver may add to that. I have known them to do it in 2. Split rims obviously take a little longer. Regards Dave
