Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I’ve been slowly making improvements over that past year including the fantastic Numeric short shift kit , including shifter, cables and 917 style shift knob—- a remarkable improvement over stock. Have also replaced the stock exhaust with Soul headers and rear exhaust systen and love, love the new sound. Now the bixenon headlights need replacing; the dimmed beams are original and light the road like a myopic firefly, yet the high beams light up like lasers.I’ve ordered some highly rated Oshram Bulbs from Amazon and was wondering what the community thinks of the Oshrams vs the original Phillips bulbs . Any informed opinions would be greatly appreciated . Thanks, Johnny White Key West

POST 2Original post

Oshram? Almost certain to be a Chinese fake. Osram is a real brand. They make decent quality lights, ALL of the major manufacturers have issues with Chinese fake clones, really right down to the hologram on the boxes. Make sure Amazon is the actual seller of the lights you buy, that gives you a reasonable chance of them being legit and not clones. The clones have reliability issues.

POST 3Original post

Did you do any measurement of performance before/after the header installation? Solid numbers on the above are difficult to find.

POST 4Original post

I'll be measuring this in a few weeks. Baseline dyno scheduled for Tuesday, then header and software install.
