Does anyone on here have a recommendation for a shop in Naples Florida to repair sagging Headliner on 2012
Cayman
?
Not in Florida, but I just pulled my 2012 CSBE headliner last summer and had it re-covered at an automotive upholstery shop for $200. The worst part is removing the plastic trim. I had to buy some retaining clips and make a few epoxy repairs to the clip attachment
points
. Otherwise it's a pretty basic step by step job. When re-installing the headliner I ran cabling for a rear facing
dash cam
.

I'm in Naples and had mine done several years ago. The problem is I really don't know who did it. I shopped around and found an auto upholstery business that wanted $1200 (several years ago pricing). Another place wanted $300 but when I did a drive by it looked like a junk yard where I wouldn't want to leave my car. I mentioned it to my regular service provider Debold German Auto on Airport Pulling and the service writer at the time said they had a place and would be happy to handle it for me. I let them handle it and it was perfect. Price was $600 and I suspect they added a handling charge but I was fine with it. You can check with Mike at Debold. Not the same guy from several years ago but better when it comes to service.
Thank you. I live very close to Debold and after a quick search there are a few other places also close by.
I removed the headliner shell on my 2009
Cayman
and took it to a shop in Jacksonville. They did a great job for $150 and had it done in two days. Removing the shell and replacing it is time consuming but can be done without too much trouble if you take your time. I also stripped and repainted the trim pieces.

I went with a place in Naples called Ted and Sons Custom upholstery. Dropped it off this morning and I just got I back. Looks great and it was $550.00
All indications are they do great work. Interestingly enough, you may recall I mentioned a several years ago quote of $1200 in a previous post. That quote came from Ted & Sons. Go figure. The price you paid is a good one.
